Quality

At Alternative Care we define quality service as providing the necessary care and support to service users and their families to achieve the needs and desires of the Service User. We think it is very important to fully support every person’s human rights. Alternative Care works to stringent standards which are reviewed regularly. We are CQC registered, and employ our own Quality Assurance Officer.

We believe that the management style, policies and daily practice within the company should support the human rights of its service users by promoting open communications. We have created a culture of problem solving rather than blame and use the involvement of all relevant people to maintain the quality of the services provided.

We believe in a culture that supports continuous progression and we maintain this by regular audit and review of the standards of performance. This applies to all areas of the company and its employees and is followed by open discussion of strengths and action planning.
